The Cathedral of Our Lady is a Gothic style cathedral in Antwerp. The church’s one finished spire is 123 metres high, the highest church tower in the Benelux. The building contains a number of significant works by the Baroque painter Peter Paul Rubens, amongst others. The belfry of the cathedral is included in the Belfries of Belgium and France entry in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It took almost two centuries to build, the year 2018 marks the 500th anniversary of the completion of the construction.
