The Atomium in Brussels was constructed for the 1958 World’s Fair. The 102 m tall building was designed by the engineer André Waterkeyn. Its nine 18 m diameter stainless steel clad spheres are connected so that the whole forms the shape of a unit cell of an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times. It is now a museum. The banknote dispenser is located on the panorama platform in the top sphere.
